This entry-level graduate internship at Coronation Fund Managers provides hands-on exposure to compliance, risk management, and operations in a JSE-regulated stockbroking environment. Graduates support trade surveillance, regulatory reporting, KYC/FICA compliance, and operational risk management across equities, fixed income, and derivatives, while gaining mentorship, structured learning, and experience working with front-office, operations, and compliance teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor trade activity across equities, fixed income, and derivatives, identifying anomalies and ensuring regulatory compliance
• Support preparation and submission of regulatory returns, audits, and compliance reporting
• Assist with KYC/FICA verification, client onboarding, and stakeholder compliance checks
• Collaborate with Front Office, Operations, Settlements, and Technology teams to resolve compliance queries and support operational risk management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Law, Business, Accounting, Risk, or Data Analytics
• Willingness to complete JSE Compliance Officer Exams and SAIFM courses (e

• Basic knowledge of equity, fixed income, and derivative instruments (shares, ETFs, bonds, swaps, FRAs, futures, options)
